I lived in this complex for only 14 months, but I probably would have stayed if my job hadn't moved to downtown Dallas. I liked the complex, but there were a few things I didn't like. First, the gates to get in were easily bypassed by having a passenger get out and hold up the bar. It was easy for people to walk in too. What's the point of a gated complex if anyone can get in and walk around as they please' Second, when I moved in, most people were friendly and helpful, except one woman (who I can't remember her name because it was a year and a half ago) who when I asked to view the actual unit I was going to rent before I signed the lease, she handed me the key and had me go find it and look at it myself. Any time I went to the office for something, she seemed bothered that I was there or that she had to do something, and would often ignore me until she was finished with whatever she was doing no matter how long it took before she would look up and acknowledge I was even there. Third, although I LOVED having a carport connected to my apartment (I never got wet when it was raining and never had to step in mud or puddles), I didn't enjoy living above the carport and two garages. In the summer I could feel the heat coming from the carpet when walking around barefoot. There was no turning up the temp while at work, the A/C had to continually run all day long, so I didn't like the electric bills in the summer.
Really there were two reasons I moved out, to cut my daily commute in half, and to move in with my fiance. I never had problems with bugs or anything like that, just the biggest problem was the heat in the summer. I also got my deposit back when I moved. Overall I enjoyed my experience at this complex.

I did like the place, but yes, I only wrote about the negatives. When I dealt with other people in the office it was always positive. I should have highlighted more of the positives, but I basically said that I loved everything else except these three things, and then listed them.
I liked the neighborhood, the location, I liked the proximity to Addison and major highways, I liked the quietness of the complex, I liked the lake in the complex, I liked how there usually wasn't a parking problem around my building, I liked the look of the apartments, I liked my floor plan and my big bathroom, I liked that they let me bring my own refrigerator... Like I said, "I liked living here but here are a few things I didn't like." There's a lot more to living in a complex than three things.

Why would you reccomment this place? Sounds to me you had the typical "I got you in now get out of my face" attitude with management from day one. All I see is negative.??????
