There are several posts here regarding managemnet being racist, biased, old bats etc. All of that is true. Dana by far is the worst, this woman needs some serious medication adjustments. We lived on the second floor, and made the mistake of buying a TV / surround sound system. Okay, I'm the first person to agree there's nothing more annoying than a neighbors noise. The downstairs couple were long time tennants and friendly with the whack job that runs this place. Day after day we were called wtih complaints about the TV. The funny thing is we disconnected it after the second complaint. We'd have complaints about us when we weren't even home, (perhaps it was the rats they were hearing') Anyway, this just went on and on, no one cared or listened to our side of the story - we wanted to be friendly, make arrangements for something we could all live with but no, the couple on the first floor were out for blood. Turns out they hated "Happy Guys" since this site edits the more common phrase. When that got out to Dana her attitude went from bad to worse. We were harrassed, verballly by her after she pinned me in with her car and screamed at me in the public area, while the little creep walked behind her to get every juicy word. So, it you are "happy", black, Hispanic anything but a white southern Baptist, with a mind as narrow as hers, don't waste your time. I proved my point by calling about availability after I had left. Was told three units were available. I then sent my rather flamboyant friend by claiming he had called. He was told "There was a mistake, we don't have any units at this time". Bunch of crap and a bunch of psychos. Otherwise, decent enough place for the money. I suggest making friends with whatever it is they call management. You'll find them out smoking most of the time, or ignoring you when you come into the office, or losing your packages that they carelessly stack anywhere and allow anyone to claim them. I lost a case of wine that way. Place sucks and so do they...or they should it might improve their dispositions.

I'm sorry to hear of your experience. I've lived at BTS for almost one year and I am really disappointed to find find this review. Though I am not a "Happy" person (30, Wht, F & married), the thought of someone being treated cruelly due to their "lifestyle" (which is a flawed term anyway as it has been proven that "Happy" people are born that way due to a specific gene) is very disturbing to me. I have many "Happy" friends, including my best friend. His partner is one of the sweetest people in the world and wouldn't hurt a fly. To imagine anyone treating my friends in the manner which you've described makes me sick. I'm truly sorry that you had to go through that, and I hope that you have better luck with the next place. I don't understand why people can't just accept that we are all built the same inside; judging others based on color, sexual preference, weight, appearance, etc., is just ignorant. I have not had any problems with BTS as of yet, but I guess I meet the acceptable "criteria." My family has enjoyed living here thus far (except for the insanely high electric bills and people that sound like they're breeding rhinos upstairs or something). I hope you meet more people like me in the future to balance out this negative experience; I'm far from perfect (and am not always nice) but I LOVE my "Happy" friends & neighbors!!
