Questionable Rental fee structure and security practices.

Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2005
Lived here 2004-2005. At that time ownership was Mansions at Coyote Ridge and staff was wonderful, grounds well kept and maintainence very attentive. When it was sold to BV the staff was not as helpful and friendly. After honoring my lease when I moved out they kept my security even though the place was left spotless. They charged me for carpet replacement even though the rental agent told us they have a policy of replacing the carpet every 4 years due to normal wear and tear, and ours was due to be replaced when we moved out. Never thougth I would be the one to pay for it! The whole atmosphere of the place went down hill. They write the lease up with a real "gotcha". They list "market rent", ususally about $350.00 over actual rent, then tell you they will give a discount. However, if you need to move out early, they intend to stick you with the "market rent" (which I never agreed to pay in the first place) for all months stayed plus a ton of fees. This method of rent charges borders on fraud and should not be tolerated. I do not recommed this place solely for it's rental fees policy. I was honorable in paying my rent, they should have been honorable with my security money. It is one of the few 4BR/3BA apartments in the area which is what I needed. I think next time I would rent a house.
