I currently live here, and will be moving out in October. Their maintance crew sucks, and the girls who work in the leasing office are totally fake. Before signing the lease, I didn't notice the huge land field located across the golf course (I dont know how I missed it). Anyways, every morning and night you can smell it really bad!!! Also, when I signed the lease they try to be very pushy so that you dont find everything that is wrong with the apartment. So take your time and take pictures of EVERYTHING!!!!

Their appliances are also terrible along with the counter tops, tile and carpet. I've lived here almost six months and I'm still vacumming up dirt from the previous renters. I even had the carpet cleaned because they were not clean when we moved in. They also screw you on trash. You pay $10 on your water bill and another 20 is added to your rent. They also don't have HD-TV access through DirectTV in the complex, which they recommend when you sign the lease.

There are good things though. It's not loud, the traffic is not bad, easy access to 121 and I-35 and plus the golf course is very nice. But for the amount you pay here, you can find a cleaner, as nice and environmental friendly place to live close to the same price or way cheaper.

I have been living here for 3 yrs and it sounds like you should move. You do not sign a lease when you are not happy with the community and find that many things wrong. I don't know where you are located on the property but I only smell the landfill in the summer or early a.m. in the winter. Your bad for not noticing prior to move in. Sounds like you are ready for a house with no HOA.
