Always check with the Better Business Bureau

It is a good idea to always check with the BBB to be sure you aren't as likely to have problems or if you do have them, can resolve more effectively. I moved into Cambria without fully checking them out and what a mistake that was. I signed a 13 month, but my stay was so bad, I found a way out when they began to violate my lease. Yes, Cambria management violated my lease and from my conversation with neighbors, Cambria management was doing the same thing to most of my neighbors. My suggestion after the fact is this: Check with the BBB. If they are a member, you have more weight in resolving any problem you may encounter. Still, by reporting your problem to the BBB, you can help others to see what problems you are/have had. In this case, Cambria management has all sorts of complaints, but their legal agent Internacional Realty out of San Antonio does not. More pressure can be brought to bear against these bums (in this case) in an effort to force them to resolve issues. If they don't work to resolve it, it shows up on BBB records for 3 years and cautions others about the company. If they care at all, you will get a hearing ear, if not results. If you have a problem, file a complaint with the BBB both against Cambria and against Internacional Realty and show the world you mean business. This is a lot more effective than making an attorney rich.
