2nd Review after I switch apartments in the same complex

I moved from a 1st floor apartment to a 2nd floor apartment with the wrap around balcony. The apartment is great as long as you don't need anything fixed and you have semi-respectful neighbors. The walls are rather thin so if you have loud neighbors, which there is no way to predict that, then you're not going to get sleep at night if you share a bedroom wall. People not cleaning up after their pets did get worse as my next lease wore on. The office staff changed twice, when I moved from my old apartment across the parking lot to my new apartment I was charged all kinds of cleaning fees because apparently the tenants in that first unit before me had a cat and didn't report having it to the apartments so I got stuck with the cleaning bill for the cat "spraying" the walls and carpet. Eventhough I'm highly allergic to cats and could never have one in my home if I wanted the filthy animal.

Now here is where I get into the issue about when I moved OUT of my second unit. I decided that they were allowing way too much trash to move into the complex so I needed to move. Having the police there 5 times a week for domestic issues isn't my cup of tea. I went to the office to turn in my notice to vacate and spoke with Frank, I explained that I wasn't sure I wanted to sign another lease. He told me that I could go month to month and I had another month to make up my mind so just to let him know what I decided. So I went back in a month later to tell him I'd like to go month to month only to hear him tell me, "Oh I'm sorry, but we leased out your apartment yesterday you'll have to move out on your originally scheduled day." (which was still a month away) Eventhough I reminded him of our conversation he said he had a new contract on it. Now, I always paid my rent early and in full and was a VERY low maintenance tenant, I ususally didn't bother them unless it was a HUGE problem that I couldn't handle myself and THIS is how I was repaid. So I had 30 days to find an apartment that would work for me.

THEN when I got my deposit back they screwed me there as well. So when I went back in to talk with the office about it there was a NEW manager there and Frank was gone. This new guy, Dacari or whatever is an even bigger prick. I would never recommend these apartments to anyone. Certainly not for the price you pay. I moved down the street to Lakepointe Residences and lived there for 14 months before moving closer to my job and they were fabulous! Plus I got an attached 2 car garage and a 2 bdrm for less than they were charging me at Cambria!

I just signed a new lease and regret it! This place is a joke! Everytime I go to take out my trash I feel like I'm walking through a land field. Forget talking to the Management, because there is NONE. I cannot believe the money I pay to stay here. "Security Gates" if only they would stay closed for more than 24 hours.
