I lived here through the management change in 1997, and upon moving out (all my bills were paid in full,) and giving proper notice, I was told that I owed $2000 for various things that were never even fixed during my lease. I was originally showed a decent one bedroom apartment in the middle of the complex, and less than a month later when I moved in, was told that the only place they had now was on the outside of the complex, facing the dumpster, and that I could not get it for a cheaper rate. The floors were filthy and the cabinets were falling down. The walls still had tack marks from the last occupants, who I found out later had just packed and ran. Now I know why. I am now a single mother and was looking in this apartment complex again, since it is one of the few in the area that fit my budget. While talking to the manager, I found out that I have years of bad rental history on my credit (that never showed up anywhere else) and apparently I owe them $2000 for various s***. I asked to see copies of the records from 1997, and all they could do was have me wait 30 minutes for someone to fax them a copy of the breakdown, that was marked out in several different places, and eventually got down to $800. Still don't know what for. Beware. I was totally lied to the entire time I lived there and even got shocked by my electric stove, TWICE, because maintenance failed to fix the short correctly the first time. One positive thing is that there weren't any roaches in my apartment, only ants, ALL OVER THE PLACE! Also, none of the numerous repairs were ever taken care of during my entire lease and my upstairs neighbor's shower leaked into my tub all the time. That's all I need to say.... Don't move here!!!!
