I've lived here now for 5 years (no money to move), but finally the time has come to leave! (And thank GOD!) I don't feel comfortable leaving my apartment at night anymore, because of the shady folks walking around all night long;ladies, we do get hit on constantly here...everyone stares you down when you drive by. There has been 2 shootings since I have lived here, and one pizza man got jacked on the bottom floor of my hall. I either hear hip-hop, or tehano played at all hours of the night, or the sweet sound of domestic disturbances. THe parking is AWFUL, your lucky if you get a spot even close to your apartment. The dumpsters have beds and sofas next to it constantly,(despite the offices notes.)ANd my electric bill is astronomical in the summer, due to cheap windows, and cracks under the door. People downstaris from me run a shop outside in their garage.

BUT ON THE OTHER HAND, if you can deal with these things, the management staff is nice, I've never had any problems. They come to each apartment every spring to spray for bugs, so we have no bugs. And the maintenence crew is always available, and prompt when you experience problems. They also just repainted the entire complex a few months ago, and replaced the roof. However, now that I have been searching for a larger apartment, I realized how much less I could be paying somewhere else, for more square feet. I am paying 515.00 for 555 sq. ft. But I have heard my neighbors are actually only paying 480.00 for the same damn apartment!! And I've lived here for 5 years! Overall, the main problem here are some of the people who live here....I would suggest driving around the apartments on your own time during the day and evening; you might change your mind!
