A Huge Disappointment

I lived here for around 6 months until I bought my own place. The heating upstairs went out in the middle of winter and it was never fixed. Heating in the downstairs area was outrageously expensive. I never used the fireplace as it looked unsafe. There were issues with hot water, the sliding door was almost impossible to close properly. The upstairs slider had air blowing through the crack I ended up taping plastic over the whole door to keep the wind out in winter. The kitchen cabinets were falling apart but were never replaced. They should have been replaced about 10 years ago. The solution to any problem or defect seems to be to throw a coat of paint on it.
The most off putting problems include drug deals going on at night in the back drivway, car sirens (probably the same one) going off at 3 am every night (repeatedly) and a constant ooze of some really nasty looking water from around the dumpster which was the main scenic view from my townhouse. And of course the never ending doggy poop on my front doorstep from the considerate people who walked their dogs away from their apartments to let them do their business on my grass.
The front of the apartment complex is gorgeous and meticulously maintained but the row of back apartments is totally ignored.
Pest control was non existent - I had an entire ant hill living under my kitchen sink and it was never treated.
When I moved in my bathroom door would not close so maintenance came by and belted the top of the door with a hammer until chunks of wood were flying off the door - I reported the damage to management and refused to accept responsibility for it.
Parking is always an issue as many visitors take up resident spots so you can rarely get a spot in front of your unit.
Security is non-existent. I felt very unsafe and was extremely relieved to move out.
