Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007
I have lived at Frankford Place for about a year and a half and am sad to go, but can't stay in the townhouse on my own. The staff is great. They are warm and friendly, and were the push for me to sign my first lease with them. Maintenance is quick to repair requests. The location is close to some stores, and close to the Bush tollway. However, there are some things that are not great. As stated before, everything seems to be fixed with a coat of paint. Every wall, and cabinet in the place has been painted about a million times since they built these things in the 70's. The appliances are a little older, but if your not in it for looks, and just looking for something that works, then these are fine. The washer/dryers that you can rent are very nice whirpools. There is only a ceiling fan in the dining room, which is sectioned off from the rest of the apartment, and therefore does nothing to help cool the place down. In the townhouses you have 2 seperate heating/air units so your bills can be quite pricey when it's really hot or cold (I live by myself and kept the heat low in the winter and had a $297.00 electric bill!!) The apartments are somewhat dirty when you get into it, and are a little worn from the time. The layout in the townhouse is wonderful. Parking is ok, most are right by your apartment, unless all the guests take up the residents parking. For the most part, this is a great community, the apartments are inexpensive and can fit any budget. There are a few things that are not so great, but thats anywhere!! If you can deal with these few things, then this is a great place to live.
