My sister and I recently moved to Galleria Townhomes and thought we were making a good investment. From day 1 we've had problems. The area is very loud, i've seen police arrest residents, maintanence is ok, we can hear through the walls, we can hear neighbors taking showers and so much more. I would not recommend it. We're actually about to break our lease and have only been here two months. They said they've done a million dollar renovation but I can't tell. We are paying too much for where we're living. It's not worth it.

I disagree with this comment. Tonti Properties is a good landlord. All of the buildings received new siding and insulation in 2007. Both pools were replastered as well and all the townhomes have new ceiling fans, new flooring, new 2" faux wood blinds, new light fixtures and beautifully large patios. Galleria does not allow anyone in with a criminal background, however, that is not the case at the complex right next door to the west. They have an on-site security officer who is a police officer with the City of Carrolton and from whom you can get criminal records for all complexes within Carrollton and Gallera has always had the lowest ratings as I attended a meeting they held regarding apartment safety.

I aggree with this person.i also live in the complex and can tell you that the so called upgrades and updates are very cheap and not woth the rent at all! i cant even plug anything into half of the plugs because they are so old and worn out the plug just falls out. I am constantly doing repairs because thing are constantly breaking and i mean randomly breaking. And I can tell you that singlemom77 is part of the management because her post is the exact speech they gave me when i rented the place. There is no onsite security. there is a officer that lives in the complex but he may have even moved from this place.
