So Ive lived here almost a year and i cannot wait until i can LEAVE... where to begin... the office employees are incompetent, ive recieved a bill in my mail box for back rentin the amount of 1400 dollars. when i pay my rent early every month ive had mold problems ghetto section 8 neighboors. i was told that this was a WORKING CLASS COMMUNITY these peeople dont work! they have bbq's the the front of their doors, infromt of other ppls cars all times of the night, you can only go through one electricity company because as they ( the electricity company stated) this is a section 8 property, my light bill is$ 150 dollars all winter and all they could tell me was that we had the coldest winter that texas has seen in yrs.. BULL.. i was transferred to another unit. w movers and toolk a day off of work, i dont find out until the day of my when i show up to get my keys that my unit isnt ready ,these bad ass kids hang out until 10 or 11 at night the police are CONSTANTLY in the complex for break ins or disturbances. these apartments are going to the ground quick fast and in a hurry. on top of it all they send out these flyers saying they would give their residents $50 bucks for referring ppl to lease... BULL ive NEVER live somewhere that had to BRIBE ppl to move into their units... i moved here bc i had a previous eviction but i wouldnt advise my worst enemy to live in the crap. YOU CAN find other properties that will work with you. PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO HOW IAN MATTINGLY HAS A RESPONSE TO EVERYONE WHO HAS VERY NEGATIVE YET VERY TRUE COMMENTS ABOUT MOVING INTO THESE WACK APARTMENTS... i could sit here for hours on hand but ill leave it at this for now g-hKOS7s4Nq5n3hEIpHd

First, let me apologize for the billing error. Mistakes do happen, especially when transferring from one apartment to another. My understanding is that the rent you paid was posted to your old apartment by our automated check scanning system. Once the error was brought to our attention, we corrected it, and your account was put back into good standing that same day. Our community certainly has some challenges, especially with the juvenile activity in the summer, but we also have one of the lowest rates of serious criminal activity in Carrollton, as reported by the Carrollton Police Department. CoServ is the only available electric company because we are within the Co-op's service area. Not-for-profit companies like CoServ are exempt from free market competition, but they also boast some of the lowest rates in Texas. See www.CoServ.com for more information. I'm not sure what your individual usage has been, but we do offer free energy audits to help you maximize your energy effeciency and cut down your bill. As for our referral program, this sort of a nominal thank-you is customary in our business, as I'm sure you would find if you checked around. I would hope that anyone who cares to pay attention to my responses realizes that unlike many communities who just wish ApartmentRatings would go away, Indian Creek has a corporate-level supervisor who takes an interest and active role in trying to improve the resident experience. Our electricity bill was incredibly high when we lived there as well due to poor insulation! We could hear everything and the a/c only cooled the bathroom and end bedroom. We live in a much nicer/bigger apartment (500 sq feet bigger) and our bill is lower than it EVER was in Indian Creek...and we are still with CoServ. In response to the manager, Ian...He's correct that he takes them time to respond to poor ratings, HOWEVER he seems to have more serious complaints to defend himself against than other apartments. LumaCorp as in whole seems to be a very careless and selfish company. I've heard numerous friends that have rent going up like crazy! We just resigned our lease out our current place and they did not go up at all. On top of this, the new place is doing wonderful updates that make the apartments even more beautiful than they were before.
