Great place to live Horrible place to leave

Years at this apartment: 2000 - 2006
I lived there for over 5yrs and really enjoyed it. I never had any problems with any of the neighbors or managers until I gave them notice. Management acted as if I was a member of their family leaving on bad terms. The rude little lady that ran the office tried to sue me to replace the carpet (after 5yrs) It really left a sour taste in my mouth for a place that I gladly would have recommended prior to leaving.
