this property is supposeed to be a family property it has 2 - 3 \bedroom townhomes in it. i dont know of many ppl who live in a townhome that dont have children. but if your children are outside they are constantly harrassed by some oversized security/ constable that has nothing better to do. he lives on sight and flashes his badge around like he is the DA!! i can say that i didnt have much problem with the maintinence they were always pretty atentive. the managament i have no comment..that should answer your questions...its just not a very kid friendly place..they have no playground for children and if your children are caught outside playing you will get a lease violation...2 lease violations and you will be evicted...so think about that before you even consider moving here..if you want your kid or kids to be held prisoner then hey its all good for you..

Lived here?

Dear Anonymous, I have lived here for more than seven (7) years. I've had several managers during my residency here and I have nothing but good experiences with management and the maintenance staff. I have found if you communicate with any management regarding your concerns they are dealt with without prejudice or bias. Regarding the issue of children,-I will address my dealings with children who are left unsupervised at nights, weekend and after school during the week. The children get off their school bus and think the parking lots are football fields, basketball courts and playgrounds. They don't go to their perspective homes they stand around and talk loud run between the buildings and this is continued until the arrival of the management. My personal experience is children sitting on my back of my car ( that I had to ask them to get off, so I could in my car), running on top of the carports; I've even had children running on top of my building. I have personal knowledge of these incidents; I??????ve addressed the children directly myself while they are still perched on top of my carport, so I am sorry that this unpleasantness has happened to you. The officer on premise does his job. The rules are posted about children??????s' curfew. Remember, he has an option to take them too juvenile courts, where you could pick them up. I have also personally heard him ask the children to go to their homes and not loiter in the middle of the parking lots. If a child is run down by a car and injured on property, whom would the parents blame? I have been in my car and had children run in the middle of the street without looking and riding bikes in the parking lot without regard to cars or people. We have three parks, a bike trail and a gym in the neighborhood, that would more than facilitate you needs for a playground. I know that you are one of the parents that is aware what her children are doing and where they are 24/7. It sounds that you have issues/concerns that can??????t seem to get resolved, but my questions to you would be-Whose issues/concerns are these and who do you think should be responsible for resolving them? Yes, I do have children.

DeeDee I stay in a very nice apartment complex and they would never say the kids can't go outside. If you do your research on TAA policies then you would know that this is the policy of TAA. People live in apartments because this is where they can only afford at the time not to be treated disrespectful because some kids have disobeyed the rules then the management should put out that particular family and not punish the whole complex and that is final. This is a little ludicrous for the manager to act so ignorant to this. The officer on premise is being a bully trust me and call the police department about this complex and you will find out as well. The manager is being ridiculouss she should take a class on kids and how to treat and handle them. By the way I am a Psychology major and you should never make kids stay in the house around their living quarters nor is it advised to go to parks with all the molestors in that area. If the police take the kids for playing outside to Juvenile then their parents can sue that officer, the apartments, and others. I am a Psychology major and have a masters in Criminal justice.

Come hang out at the Tallows for a weekend...you will see what they are trying to avoid. I would welcome any form of security at this point.

I live across the street from the townhomes. The "kids" in question are not sweet little elementary school children, but high school students(?), that are loud, profane, and trying to intimidate. I believe in live and let live, but at times they are so loud I can't even hear my own tv in my living room! This really needs to be addressed!

I live in these townhomes and the 'kids' are the reason we are moving when our lease ends. They are destructive and loud. It is NOT the elementary children that are driving us away; it's the teenagers. We have lived here a year and I have not even seen this security guard you're talking about.

I live on the property and it's very well run. The guard is just doing his job. He does not harass but he will inquire. I'm a parent of a 14 year old and I will not allow my child to 'hang outside' because it's inappropriate. If my child wants to socialize they can occasionally invite friends over (with proper parental supervision of course)or go to a friend's house when circumstances allow. It used to be that you could allow your kids to hang out outside after school and call them in just before dinner but thats's no longer the case. Many kids lack discipline, and act indignant for making them do something as simple as moving over as you drive into your parking space. The ultimate burden is on the property because if they take the propblem lightly, it creates an influx of disgrunted residents anxious to leave when their lease ends. Parents need to find other things for their children to do.
