We looked here a few months ago and decided to rent. No we don't work here and no I am not friends with anyone that does. This is an honest opinion. I think the person who posted previously to me worked here before and is upset about something.

Before we moved here, we had some mix ups w/our apartment, but stayed patient and in the end we got a great deal on the largest apartment. It is great. It feels like a little home, has great lighting and a fun floor plan.

The apartments are older, so keep in mind you will not be getting flashy new amenities. When we moved in, our apartment wasn't necessarily ready. Instead of getting upset w/the office staff, we were nice and just asked that things be fixed. They had a tough month and I think appreciated the understanding on our part. Just some gentle reminding is needed and things get done. The maintenece staff has been nothing but nice to us. Needless to say we ended up with a brand new fridge a week after moving in and a brand new dishwasher yesterday. They didn't have to do that, but they did w/o a hassle. It was their suggestion! Tomorrow they are coming to redo our master standing shower.

There are kids (latch key kids) that play outside a few hours after school. They usually play soccer or football and don't really bother anybody. If they are playing right next to your apartment I guess they could be loud, but nothing to get worked up about. I think it's better than them getting involved in crimes, don't you'

I feel safe here and I'm paranoid when it comes to this stuff. I have small children, so safety is important to me. Actually, is anywhere truly safe anymore' It's lit up well and we haven't had any problems. I guess the people that live here are diverse and all walks of life. So if someone doesn't like that, then they wouldn't like it here.

Parking is great. There are a few places that I could see would be tight, but most people park right in front of their apartment.

We haven't used the pool yet, but don't see any problems there. The playground in the back is small, so we don't use it much, but the Greenbelt is a really close walk!

We love it here and would recommend it to anyone. Give it a try.

Please God, people don,t make my stupid mistake. I dont know whats wrong with me. I must love punishment. I have been here, since 2001, and it just keeps getting worst. First I guess money is tight with (the owners of tallows http://www.tiptongroup.com/about.php). I havent seen a pest man, in about 2 years. we had pest control come by 2 weeks ago to spray ants outside our front door. these apartments were built in the 80's people! get over it.

Thank you for providing an honest opinion. I am moving to Dallas in a few weeks and this is one of the apartments that I am considering. I like its location and floor plans. Are their any concerns that I should have when moving here?
