- ex employee - I lived and worked here when it was bad-

First I want to say that I am not an employee and you know the ones that are written by them..... I recently purchased a home and an eviction from Trinity Mills came up on my credit. I was floored but when I contacted the management it was obviouse that they had it together. The manager researched my information and found a way to resolve the issue.
Let me give you some preface- I worked for Walden when they owned the property and I worked in the office. The manager at the time filed an eviction on me in recorse after I turned her in for all the "deals" that were going on in the office and on the property. The treatment of the residents was extreamly poor and the move ins(and outs) were getting out of control. I lived there and they simply didn't care about who was living there because they knew they were selling and becoming part of a tax credit program. The office staff was incompetant and rude. I did not want to be a part of it. The Manager at the time, was hardly even there, and wanted to spend all her time with her underage boyfriend. Anyway... .I went to the CEO and informed him after I moved out and quit. I am here to tell you..... It's not the property that makes a difference- it is completely the managment!!!! They decide who to listen to- how and when to fix your problems- When they follow the rules and not to mention the laws- any place can be a nice place with the right team. When I lived there - there were a few residents that creeped me out, but they were actually nice. I got locked out of my car once and a very big man listining to his music outside said he could help. I first said no I am alright, but it was obviouse that I wasn't. He helped me anyway and we are still friends.... He recalls it as "you member when you were scared of me"... The fact is anywhere you go you are going to run in to people that are just gripe happy and have had bad things happen. I am a single mom so I know the frustration of feeling safe and I liked living there despite mngmnt.
The office staff and Managment are what makes the difference. The complex (staff say community) is in a good location and with the right team it is a nice place to live. The apartments are huge and I never had a bug problem - (you've heard of Hot Shot right') I think Ruth is doing a fine job and she was very helpful to me. I visited the property- shoped them- and used my contacts to find out more info before writing this.... It seams that they are doing a good job and the property itself is turning around from a bad managment team. They seam to be undoing a lot of things that needed undoing. So in conclusion- if you like a big apartment in an older property in a great area - give it a shot and see what this managment team can do for you....Again I have no assosiation or connection to anyone who works there. That's why I am using my real name and email.
Thanks,
Tera
