I've been a resident at the Villas for approx. 3 years; the grounds are kept nicely, including the pools, which are very clean during the summer months when they get a lot of use. Winter, of course, brings leaves all over the place. I've never had a problem with the maintenance -- each time I call, they show up. By my contract, they have 24 hours to resolve the problem. And it's quiet, except for the occasional train that travels nearby in the early morning, but since I get up early, it's an alarm for me. The flower beds are changed periodically and are very beautiful. Place was recently painted. We had problems with laundry facility, but all equipment was replaced and is in working order.

For the record, I never mentioned I didn't like it here nor did I call you a liar. A little defensive don't you think? And what does this state being a red state have to do with anything? If you want to go there, Dallas county, the county we live in, is technically a "blue county," voting Democratic during this past election, but who really cares anyway? It has nothing to do with an apartment rating. Because this is a free country, I also can say my opinion and if you don't like it, oh well. Come live over here in building 14 and you would be agreeing with me.

I've been living at these apartments for about a year and a half everything is nice here I must agree, the only thing is that they had problems with the pool over the summer and it was always green but thankfully that was fixed and as for the train I really dont hear it that much just in the mornings maybe because I'm use to and it dont bother me none.. and Im in building 14 at that.

1. Texas IS A RED state even if you don't like that fact and despite how Dallas Cty voted. Most big cities in the US with multiple problems and financial crises have been run by liberal policies and politicians for the past 20 years. 2. I am a resident at the Villas whether agree with that fact or not. 3. Get a life and work for a living and you won't have to worry about staying home clocking the noise from the train. Your response is a poster child for the liberal mindset: whining and complaining about everything, attacking the very system that affords you the opportunity to live where you live, and smearing people who disagree with you no matter how civilly they try to dialog with you. How sad. JUST MOVE. I came from a poor, totalitarian regime and simply love it here. Go find another place. If you lived in a Third World hellhole, you'd come back and kiss the ground at your Villas apartment. Pack up and move elsewhere. Too much time on your hands without enough to do just drives people to be bitter and negative. Work hard, be happy!

This is ridiculous and has nothing to do with an apartment rating. Maybe you should go back to the rating for these apartments in March 2007, I wrote a positive review because I loved it here. I also came from a hellhole apartment complex so when compared, this was heaven. However, I am entitled to my opinion like you and from my point of view here in building 14, it has turned negative. You don't know me or where I came from. I do not whine and complain. This has been my personal experience, just like it is with you. You've had a good one for 3 years, Mine was good for the first year, and has drastically declined within the second. I have a full time job that I work at night, that's how I pay my rent and I live here. Once again, you make assumptions about me that aren't true because you don't know me. This is all immature and childish. I feel like I'm arguing with a know-it-all teenager.
