The apartments aren't the newest I?ve lived in, but I have to say that they are really some of the best. The management here is actually nice when you move in and afterwards too. I actually live across the street from their part time worker and she is always smiling and asking how I?m doing. Not to mention Debbie in the office is a hoot.

The maintenance guy is really sweet, and he's been quick on all of the requests I?ve had (even though with one I just wanted to borrow a ladder to change a light bulb because I?m tall challenged) He also heard that version was having trouble getting our phone working so he checked all of the wires as far as he legally could, replaced our phone jacks just in case, then made sure the version guy fixed the problem right when we were at work. He seems to have a lot of experience doing his job, and is actually probably the smartest maintenance guy I?ve ever met.

The apartments are laid out really well, one of the people below were not kidding about the apartments being shaped more like little houses, and it does have more of a homey feel. Most of our neighbors seem to be young families or long time residents, and most of these people are rather friendly and get to know who you are.

The grounds are pretty nice also, you can't beat living next to a park; they just started to resurface the pools and that is making them look a lot nicer. My only complaints are that the windows do leak air a little bit, this has more to do with the age of the place and the fact that Carrollton sits on a shale bed that messes with everyone?s foundation eventually, and at night after about 9 or 10 parking is an issue if you live in the middle of the complex like I do. I?ve had parking be a lot worse however.
