I have lived at Colonial Grand for 7 months and I am fairly happy with them. I have lived at several AMLIs and they love selling their property to other people without contacting the tenants till the day they are changing their name! MBS Management is the worst so it makes Colonial Grand look like they are the best property ever. Of course when people write their reviews on apartments they mention everything they do wrong rather than mentioning the good things. For one thing you live in an apartment complex not a condo so there will be noise. So expect that! Every time I put in a service request with Colonial Grand their turn around time is awesome! I get it repaired within 12 hours of my phone call. They are making things a lot easier for the tenants to pay rent online now instead of dropping off a check. Parking kind of sucks sometimes and I can t get a garage because I drive a huge truck and it barely fits in the garages. That is the downfall. I do have a serious insect problem by my door and I contact them about it and do they do have a pest control that comes out. Yes the apartment agents are NEVER there in their office so the phone just rings and rings or just sends you to a voicemail. Sometimes you have to be persistent because they won t call you back if you leave a message. You just have to show up at the office if they are there. And then you have those trailer trash annoying people who don t clean up their dog poop. Drives me crazy! Overall I like it here. I don t have very many complaints. Just the regular ones at any apartment complex.

I live at the CG and I think it's okay. The office staff is very friendly and they fixed my appliance problem in 12 hrs. also. They should fine tenants that do not clean up after their dogs. There are plenty of Poop Bags available. If each person picked up after one dog (thiers) there wouldn't be any crap on the ground. How hard is that. I'd hate to see their apartments.
