Hated It

Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2004
We moved in when the apartments first opened, and we were given a great deal, but beware! This apartment complex is the wolf in sheep's clothing. The bugs were endless..scorpions, worms, ants! HORRIBLE. If you do go to lease and are somehow tricked, make sure to get the quote IN WRITING. The first time we looked, they told us if we left our deposit that day, we would get all of these deals. We went to the store, got the money order and came back and asked for the deal in writing..which was a good thing because when we got ready to sign our lease, everything was DIFFERENT..so we had to pull that paper back out... THEN all of the materials used to build were extremely CHEAP! It was like they just threw stuff together. The breezeways are always dirty and there are always kids skateboarding through them. Just plaing bad I tell ya! Upon moving out, they tried to bill us for the stains that the worms that crawled under our door made, but we told them that it wasn't our fault b/c we all but begged them to come in and put more insulation around the door..and don't get me started on the dumpster...when I was there, there was only ONE dumpster for the whole complex and the only other thing was a compactor that was located all the way on the other side of the complex from my building. Over the weekend, the dumpster would get overfilled and by Sunday afternoon there would be hella trash all over the place! There were also a lot of animals, possums, skunks, raccoons... I hated my experience with The Lodge at Lakeline Village.
