What can I say. It started out pretty good and then went all down hill. Staff is difficult to deal with if you have a problem. The latest was when I ran to a neighbors apartment to use the bathroom and left my 7 year old at the pool...She knew not to get in the pool till I returned and she didn't, but a staff person from the office scolded her for being at the poolside without her parents...They were totally unaware that my neighbor was watching her while I went to the bathroom. How rude and how dare they intimidate a young child for doing nothing wrong. My neighbor told me of the occurrence and we were both floored and horrified that supposedly grown women would conduct themselves in this manor. My husband had me say nothing to the staff and bite my tongue as we are leaving soon and want no problems with them, as we have heard they can make your life hell if they want to and DO!!! Where does the staff find the timeto watch the pool when they can't even answer there phones.I have calledthe office several times the past month due to a problem in the apartment and the answering machine is all one ever gets, and after days they might return your call. Thank god for the pleasant maintenance people because the office staff are the rudest little bunch of girls that really need to grow up and do there job. I can't wait till our lease expires, only 4 more months...Our family has made some great friends and we have found that they too are unhappy and feel the same way...Don't let the nice appearance or location fool you..BEWARE...

Well i was on the treadmill in the workout facility one day when a seven year old girl appeared from the pool and her mother was nowhere in site. She tried climbing on with me while it was at an extremely high speed and I was furious at her mom. She finally came for her ten minutes later (thank god I was not a creepy weirdo) and didn't even apologise. So yeah this complex has way too many kids at the pool unsupervised and running around unsafely. My boyfriend and I were at the pool one afternoon and i was cringing at four kids around the age of six-eight jumping off the "whirlpool" adult part of the pool that connects to the larger pool and I just knew someone was going to crack open their head - I mean it was so scary and the parents just let it happen. My boyfriend actually had to get out there and make sure they were safe and guided them to a safer area and supervised them. The staff is only watching out for their asses cause who knows when some irresponsible mother may sue for their own negligence. And this is coming from someone who could care less about the staff.

I agree. Better safe than sorry. If you saw someone trying to pry open a car window with a jim slim at night, would you assume they locked their keys in the car or call the police? If that person were you, would you be mad when they showed up or be glad someone cared?

I guess the staff at the Lodge assume fake names and make light of all the tenants' complaints on here. It's so true though, they never answered their phones! Too busy placing ridiculous notes on tenants doors I guess.
