MY family and I moved here waiting for our home to be built. I hope it is built soon because our experience here has been awful. THe apartments are okay, a bit noisy but so are my kids so we can deal with that. What we can't handle is the awful office staff here.A mean bunch of young women that like harassing children and adults trying to enjoy our summer. Yelling at children playing at or in the pool, trying to have a good time in the 95 degree heat. Has anyone told them that it is summertime and the kids are off from school and will be at the pool most of the time, having fun. If the staff and Northland wanted this to be a retirement for older folks then they should advertise as such. They sell you on the great amenities, but don't try to use the theatre...it is really for there private meetings. Don't call with a problem because they don't answer phones. Don't expect them to accept a package for you, as they are to busy yelling at people and sending nasty letters to all the residents in the complex about all the things we do wrong. ohg, and the speed bumps will tear up the bottom of your car, they are huge.If your over 80 perhaps you should move here. They might treat you decently. All they want is for you to sit downh, shut up, and pay them lots of money. WE HATE IT!!!

Then it must be very quiet then? Great! I think you just plugged a free advertisement.

I have never received a nasty letter - not once since I have been here. And I'm at the pool often and never even see the staff - only kids running around crazy.

It sounds like you and your kids are more of the problem. I have lived here for 3 years and I have loved it! The staff is always friendly... yelling!? I doubt it! I have never had trouble reserving the theatre... Maybe they are fearful your noise kids will tear it up.

I agree, the staff is more concerned with trying to find little things that the tenants do wrong and leaving notes on our doors than they are concerned with customer service. Ex. I mopped off my patio which was on the second floor, and left the mop out leaning against the wall. They left a note saying to move the mop. ??? This is what they do with their time? Their staff is awful! The manager, Jamie, and her assistant are both underqualified for their positions. And the leasing agent, Brianna, thinks SHE is the manager and is incredibly sour and rude. What a mess. I tried calling the headquarters of Northland Corp (their mgmt company) and no one there would return my calls. Horrible customer service all around.

The reason they have time to put notes on your door about "little thing" (that are lease violations by the way) is because they rarely have anything else to attend to. The only times I have called on the staff is to relace light bulbs and "fix" our disposal. The staff does a great job keeping up the property and actually act like they respect this place, which is rare these days. And don't go there about Brianna. She is always nice to me when I see her. She even remembers my name! If you were pissed about your mop and got pissy with her, she may have just returned the kind of attitude she received. Most people do that. Also there are lockboxes at the mailbox that are used for packages that are delivered by USPS, but I'm not sure if UPS or FedEx can use those. I use them all the time to get packages and I have had to go to the post office only once to pick up a package. And the neighbors are cool as hell. I have two kids who make noise all the time, and no one has complained to me about it (likely because they also hear me controlling them, too). And if my daughter is at the pool and no one can se me or another adult responsible for her, I hope they DO act and cuss me out for being an irresponsible parent. |

First off, the office manager is rude. Brianna is really nice and seems to know a bit about what is going on. The other girl is nice but doesnt have a clue! Sure if you only have a light bulb to change or a disposal to "fix" then maintainance is great! In the meantime they have come a few times to fix the staples in the floor at my front door and still my daughter, my husband and I constantly get stabbed in the foot! They were supposed to come back and change the batteries in my smoke detector..that never happened. I mean how many times do i Have to keep callin up there to get stuff done. I know everyone needs stuff done but maybe they should take care of things in some sort of order. Aslo, this is the first apartment, where they dont except packages, that i have ever lived at! Sure they have compartments for stuff like that but those things can barely hold a shoe box!
