Extremely poor service, do not recommend - ad - Today
I lived in this complex for 7 months, a six month lease plus a month's extension, while I was waiting to move into a house. 50 days before my move out date my refrigerator's compressor lost a bearing and started making a hellacious noise. It sounded like a generator when running and when it cut off it hit hard almost like the sound of a starter on a small car as it wound down.

I reported this 7 times with no results. Maintenance came out to my place twice and left notes saying that they serviced the fridge. Yeah, right. A compressor bearing problem isn't field serviceable so the problem was never resolved. After calling back and complaining several more times, the service technician came out and left a note saying they'd get a fridge on order. Three weeks later...no fridge.

Called and complained to management again. [I had moved out 10 days before schedule and asked them to settle for breaking my lease 10 days early in exchange for 40 days of interrupted sleep, broken concentration and a difficult time watching TV.] Manager (Doug) said no... They said that they could offer me $100 back and that is it. They also said they'd get the fridge in for me. Nice. I wasn't there anymore... Very considerate though.

My speculation is that since they knew I'd be leaving in a month, they didn't want to mess with the refrigerator. I was a quiet tenant with no problems or prior complaints about anything. These guys simply thought it'd be more lucrative for them to install the fridge as "brand new" for the next tenant.

I would not recommend this place to anyone who expects quality service or attention when needed.

Additional comments:

Not so good:

- Landscaping was pretty poorly maintained
- Place was consistently full of scattered litter
- Gates were often broken
- Parking spaces are tight

Good:

- Pool was well maintained
- Place was quiet

I have recordings and documents that I'll get posted on youtube and add a link in later. This whole experience motivated me to make sure others don't fall into this.

My fridge did the same thing not too long ago.. Hasn't done it since though so I haven't complained to management. Other than that I haven't had any issues at all here.. I'm quite pleased. I think it's much better than other complexes I've been at.

Yep. I had no real complaints until this one either... I'm a pretty easy going guy. It's only because they weren't there when I needed them, and the pitiful response to the overall scenario, that drove me to this negative review--but they are deserving of it.

same issues just not the fridge.. i told doug and others of my issues more than a dozen times... and still nothing!!
