I see many spiders...

Let's start with the good: Great apartment. Anyone who would rather have their patio converted into an actual room (solarium) should come here. Good maintenance for the most part (I had a phone line problem that never seemed to go away). Management was helpful and nice (though sometimes incompetent: took a week of nagging to get rid of a guy parking in carport). Thin walls IMHO but not bad if the neighbors are good.
I have lived in many apartment complexes, and this one would be in the top IF it weren't for one problem. Between Fall and Winter, there is a BIG bug problem, or to be precise: a big SPIDER problem. Apparently, it's illegal for Alexan to spray outside, so they just smile and remind you that you live in the woods. The apartment itself did not have any spiders, which was good. However, in the buildings closest to the park, the hallways and stairwells are INFESTED with them. And not just the cute dime-sized ones. We are talking silver dollar or bigger. All types and sizes. They love to hang out like extended yo-yo's on the hallway ceilings and over the stairs. It's an arachnologist dream and an arachnophobic's nightmare. Even worse: they will get into your car. Ever had a spider hang from the car ceiling while driving 65 in Parmer' Not fun. My new car scent is RAID. Alexan Silverado management tries to clean and control them occasionaly, but so far: Spiders=1/Alexan=0. Nevertheless, if you don't mind these insects (unfortunately, I do), I would have to recommend this place.
