This is a crime riddled complex. But what do you expect from an income based government subsidized company' Single mothers (of which I am one) in every other unit. Sadly many of these women do not supervise their children sufficiently. Illegal drugs were everywhere. And I knew when my neighbors sparked one because I could smell it thru my a/c vents. The noise was horrendous and management is overworked and underpaid. My complaints fell upon deaf ears.

I could not leave anything outside or it would disappear. I filed three police reports in the time I lived there. I made an effort to make my area "homey", planted a flower bed, etc. It was destroyed within three months during a party thrown by my dope smoking neighbors.

On a positive note, my car was never broken into or vandalized. We did have one shooting during the time I lived there, but it was an ex-husband getting revenge on his stripper ex-wife.

I would never allow my child outside unattended. Creepy looking people were coming and going all the time. I continued to work hard and earned a better income until I was able to escape. It was getting so bad right before I moved out that I began to fear for my own personal safety.
