If you are looking for a cheap place to live, this is it. But even for what little amount I pay here it has not been worth the stress and aggravation. I found out that while I was living here (for 2 years) several cars were broken into and at least one apartment was burglarized. However, I did not find this out from the staff but from other residents. The staff does not care about your safety here. In the past year I have seen this complex become more and more unsafe.

Fear of my personal safety is not the only issue I have dealt with since living here. I have had A/C problems since the day I moved in. On move-in day in mid-August, the A/C was not cooling. The maintenance man at the time (who happened to live very close to me) said he couldn't fix it because it was his birthday. According to the law, he is required to fix it if the temperature outside is over 85 degrees. The temperature that day was above 95. After much convincing, he finally poured some freon in it only so it could leak out about a week later. I have had A/C problems at least six times, and after realizing they do not keep very accurate records of maintenance problems in the office, I began keeping the little slips of paper they leave when they finish the work (that is IF the maintenance man remembers to leave one). I am sick of this because my A/C runs constantly and raises my electric bill to obscene amounts, and the apartment will not pay it.

My advice is this: DO NOT RENT HERE. Find a different place. If you must rent here, be prepared for high electric bills in addition to the cheaper rent. If they cannot replace my A/C which clearly has not been working correctly in two years, then what makes you think they will tend to your concerns any quicker'

Oh and by the way, in response to the management's post, I have in fact lived at Arbor Square Apartments and paid my rent on time for the past two years. If I would be wary of anything posted on this site, it would be the management's inaccuracy and inadequacy not the residents' supposed lies. Instead of defending themselves on a site like this, maybe they should fix some of the property's problems. Beware, they will say anything to get you to rent here.
