These apartments are OKAY... definitly have there drawbacks, but they wont be a horror story either.
Pros are that there is tons of walking areas and grass (which is good when you have two dogs like me), it is a minute down the road from a huge park, fire station, ice rink, MALL, a ton of places to eat, as well as many retail strip centers. So as far as location goes it is pretty good... traffic was a little iffy at the nearby lighted intersections, but there was construction at the time so it could have changed. It is pretty quiet for the most part, but at night the guest parking fills to the brim.. luckily I had my reserved spot.
Cons... okay well the popcorn ceilings kind of hint to you that these apartments are somewhat dated. The setup for my one bedroom felt cramped and the patio is so small it really does not function and there is no storage. (The 2 bedroom patios are HUGE)
The main thing that bugged me while I lived there was that I kept getting sick... then one day while I was cleaning I peaked into the vent in my bedroom that fed into the bathroom and realized it was FILLED with mold. I called maintenence and they were quick to show up to my apartment, but gave off a nonchalant vibe about it like it was no big deal. I had the apartment manager come up to look and she was even more casual about it... like "oh no big deal... that is in every apartment...it cant make you sick". I read up on it though and YES IT CAN make you sick, and when they cleaned it they vacummed it up which it not what you are supposed to do because all it does it spread the mold spores all over the apartment. After it was cleaned I checked it closely and while most of the visible mold had been wiped away you could see it further down the vent still as well as around the edges where it was growing into the wall(eek).
The pool is tiny, there are stray cats EVERYWHERE, and the trash area was always a mess drawing in all kinds of critters at night. The stray cats bring in fleas which got on my dogs and it was impossible to get them off. I would bath the dogs, treat them with the flea stuff... then take them outside and they would come back inside with new ones crawling all over them. Poor dogs got bathed every few days to try to keep it under control.
Anyway... I checked around and you can find PLENTY of apartments priced at the same or better with a whole lot more to offer, especially now that they raised rates another $100 to cover the cable and internet. My advice is to take some time to look at other apartments... but if you are in a hurry you should be oookay just not fabulous.

Dude....I had the exact same problem with the MOLD!
I got so sick living there and they came to my apartment and told me that it wasnt mold and that it wasnt what was making me sick.
Someone should seriously file a lawsuit for this.
I mean I was ALWAYS sick when I lived at these apartments.
