One problem after another

I should've known these apartments were trouble when I moved in. Although, the grounds are very nice, the location is great and the overall appearance is nice, the construction of the apartments are not.
It all started before I moved in. About two months before I was to move in and sign my lease, the apartment office called me to tell me that they had no room for me. More people had renewed than had been expected. Luckily, they were accomadating and gave me a two bed, two bath apartment at a discounted price.
On the day I moved in, the manager informed me that there had been a water leak in my ceiling above one of the bath tubs. It had been repaired (or so I thought) and I should keep an eye on it and inform them if water leaked again.
Well a couple of months later I was home and heard water dripping in the bathtub. I went to check and sure enough I had a water leak. I called maintenance and they were prompt at coming to fix it. They repaired it and said it shouldn't happen again. Well it did, about two more times. One time they told me it was the people who lived above me that were causing the problem. According to the manager they were not closing the shower curtain all the way so maintance installed bath gaurds on both our bathtubs. The last time it happened the leak started to spread out into my bedroom (adjacent to the bathroom). Luckily I was not using that bedroom. They finally called a real plumber to fix it.
I had another problem with water leaking in my apartment. I came home after gone on vacation to find brown spots in my living room near the baseboards. There was a problem with the piping in the wall and it had spread from my kitchen to my living room. I called maintenance and they turned off the water in the entire apartment building to repair it. After working all day they turned on the water and water came spilling out of a huge hole in my wall and came flooding into my living room... all over my carpet. I was lucky that my furniture did not get damaged, but my carpet did. They brought in fans to dry the carpet and told me they would come and shampoo it and it should look as good as new. well it didn't and after constantly complaining I convinced the manager to get me new carpet.
I also had a real problem with noise. The walls are very thin and I could always hear people walking up and down the stairs, talking on phones outside their apartment, music blaring and dogs barking.
I would not recommend this apartment complex to anyone. It was one headache after another.
