We lived here for one year. While maintenance was generally fast and effective, management is horrific.

The manager left shortly after we moved in and for a while the only management was a roving regional manager who would drop by from time to time. So the office staff would "vote" on decisions that would normally require manager approval, such as eviction notices.

Well, we were never a day late on rent the entire year we were there, no were any complains lodged against us. So we signed a lease for the next year ahead of time under a promotion where we'd get half off our next month of rent. We pay our half-month rent for the next month. A day later we get an EVICTION notice on our door! Not even a warning, an actual notice to vacate. I had a fit at the office and they said oh our bad it will never happen again.

So a couple of months later, we put our rent in the dropbox and a couple of days later get ANOTHER eviction notice. It was weekend hours by the time we got the notice, so I had a fit at the office staff who couldn't be bothered to get a real manager on the phone. Monday afternoon they finally call and say they FOUND our rent check after all, it was placed in the manager's folder who left town without processing it. So sorry, no charge, I said alright. Then I get home and find ANOTHER eviction notice. If you don't want to deal with this, don't live there.

The facilities are pretty decent, but centrally managed air conditioning sucks because you're at the mercy of maintenance to decide when it should be cool, hot, or (they don't advertise THIS), OUTSIDE AIR. Also there were 3 mugging or home invasion incidents while we lived there, so we never felt safe again as the complex is not secured from the street. Strange considering how much you pay to live there.
