My daughter contracted to rent at Casa del Sol several years ago. On the scheduled move in date, we arrived and surveyed the apartment. There were broken bottles in front of her apartment door and stairway and extremely NASTY inside conditions. Appliances were not all functioning or even present. In short, the unit was not habitable. Management was nonresponsive to our complaints. I would not leave her in those conditions, so we relocated her down the street in a very satisfactory unit. Our deposit was not returned, but it was my opinion that management defaulted on that lease by not having the apartment in reasonable condition for her prescheduled move-in date. Management and owners would not return our phone calls requesting return of our deposit. That was a DISGUSTING apartment complex. Since my daughter never moved into the Casa del Sol unit, I have no experience with a number of the areas being measured to the left of this screen by this survey. Do not be fooled by the 3s that appear on this survey. If there were a NA designation, I would have clicked onto NA for a number of the items.
