I think I am qualified enough to comment on Casa Del Sol (lovingly called Roach Del Sol or Roach Motel) having lived there for 2 years. For starters, we had a fourth room mate living free... a huge rat! God knows, there were probably many more. There were a million roaches all over the place and no amount of insecticide could keep them at bay. The bathroom ceiling collapsed a few times and the tiles were all broken. The Air conditioner at my friend's house leaked and that afforded them alternate source of water in the house. There is no maintenance worth the name. Management is rude and unresponsive. The only positive aspect of this complex is that its very close to the Engineering Department and thats the only reason why vehicle-less students would go for it.
If you have an option, RUN! Run far away! This place is a ghetto, a flea bag and a health hazard!
