I live in the Doux Chene for two years, and compared to all the other apartments I lived in I loved them. They are cheap, fairly quiet, and spacious. The staff was always nice and whenever I called for maintenance, they were usually there the same day. This is also a good location to get to A&M, you can take 2818 all the way around to main or west campus and avoid all the traffic through town(especially on game days)Also there was always enough parking and we never had a problem with crime (except I had a hanging plant and a pumkin stolen from my front porch)Definately live there if you want to live in a place that is not just all loud drunk college students-and your mommy and daddy cannot afford to pay for some high priced student apartments.
