I loved it when I moved in when it was a little on the expensive side for an efficiency, but great location, nice layout, etc. However as time has passed, I has become disillusioned- the management refuse to do anything about the noise issues- and there are a load of them. The buildings are not high quality construction so you here a great deal anyway, but then when neighbors are infatuated with their bass- your windows rattle, and floors shake. Neighbors all over the complex leave garbage on shared porches for days (and in the case of my neighbors weeks). But when I complained to management they wrote a note saying that I complained so please take out garbage- so then the neighbors got mad at me and leave crap all over now, and management does nothing! So I have not complained again for fear of making things even worse. My neighbors also have 4 animals (including a large puppy that will be a very large dog) in a 450 square foot apartment, and the downstairs neighbor has a dog that is well over the 25 pound limit as stated in the lease, and both are never on a leash (as is required in the lease) and neither are taken across to the open feild to deficate (as is in the lease) and simply go where ever they want. The staff is nice but are not enforcing the lease, and not keeping a fairly nice place up to standards, instead letting it go to the point that I feel like I pay a lot of money to live in a trailer trash environment. I have decided to discuss my options of breaking the lease legally with a lawyer in the near future and move- I am fed up. If you do not mind paying a lot to have lots of noist and dirty neighbors- this is the place for you- if you feel like when you pay a little more, you should get a lottile more- leave this one behind! Rent has also increased to 489- which I missed by renewing early back when it was still nice to live here.
