Live in a downstairs unit. Not the best or newest apartment, but also doesn't cost as much. Best location in BCS. Minimal pest problems considering its in Texas. Two roaches in the past year. The management is strict i.e. nazis, which after reading previous reviews explains why I havn't experienced noise, except for music and footsteps from the upstairs aprt which is common or trash problems. This is generally a good thing. The maintence actually has responded to all my request in less than two days however everyone in Texas does everything half assed! The managment did tear up the parking lot this week to repave it which screwed up parking and was a totally stupid idea by someone. They should of hired a more professional crew to do it in one day. Considering everything in texas sucks I suggest don't move to texas and if you do because a&m offered you a good grad student stipend, then the gables aint a bad choice.

Before you decide to insult everyone in an entire state, you may want to review your own comments. Besides being riddled with run-on sentences and grammatical errors, the content of your complaints are irrelevant and ignorant. This is a place to comment on apartment complexes, not to tell the world your pathetic complaint about the state. There is a pretty equal ratio of normal people to idiots in every state, but I am sad to know that Texas gained one more when you moved here. Go back to your own state and let A&M give that opportunity to someone more deserving; perhaps someone with the intellect to compose a decent apartment rating.
