I've lived here (w/roomates) for almost 9 months and when we first moved in to our 2/2 the heater didn't work...then a few days later we needed the apt. to cool down, THAT didn't work and still to this day our a/c does not work properly, it needs to be replaced badly. but god forbid they shell out the money to replace it. we keep our thermostat at 78ish and the thing says it's 85 almost all day long. it can't even cool off our apt well enough to get a good read from the thermostat. which in turn has caused us a $200 utility bill. the office just tells us "well it IS hot outside..."

We also had bed bugs. and the office mngmnt felt it proper to announce that "finally we've found the source" we are CLEAN people and WE are the source'' my roomates and i were completely offended and turns out, when the exterminator visited, HE said we definitely weren't the problem. (after 2 exterminations, we didn't have bed bugs anymore) the exterminator also informed us that the cost of his visit was approx. $120 not the $500 the mngmnt said it was to make us feel bad.

Not to mention that our ceiling fan was days away from falling out, literally pulling the ceiling with it.

Also we can't do our laundry here because we've lost $5 in their stupid machines.

These apts are just too old and the mngmnt is too un-caring for my taste.

***UPDATE: we moved out during the middle of the last month of our lease. We turned all of the lights off, the a/c off everything to save on electricity (we still had it on b/c legally our lease didn't end until the 30th) we walked in on all the lights on, fans going and a YARD GUY in our apt. just chilling. apparently a maintenance guy GAVE him a key so he could use our apt. reminder, our lease wasn't up until the END of the month, this was a week before. plus we had already cleaned and the place was messy again pee on the toilet seat and everything. not to mention we still had some items IN the apt.
