Be VERY VERY careful selecting Spring Heights, Timber Creek, Lincoln Square or Mill Creek. These apartments were ALL just bought out by some giant company in the last week. Their websites are no longer up to date as they state "on site caring management". This new company fired our APT manager Wally, a lady that is turning 65 years old this year. She was the best and most professional manager anyone could ask for, she had pride in her job and she treated people like family. When I noticed all the new signs going up covering all the old APT signs on Spring Loop, I went by the office to ask what was going on and Wally had been crying. She said she was not but it was obvious. These people that bought these apartments are RUTHLESS and if they will come in and fire all the managers, we ALL better LOOK OUT!

The "New" company left a piece of paper on our door which said nothing more than how successful they were for the last 40 years and all it did was congratulate themselves. It was very unprofessional and there was no address or phone number on the letter.

All we have seen this week is a large amount of illegal immigrant labor mowing and weed eating. They have made the grass too short and it's starting to die and turn brown.

We are told that it is not middle eastern owners, but in firing all the Americans, it will probably turn out to be some muslims that own it now.

We are moving when our lease is up.

I was afraid she would get fired. Do you know where she is off to now?

Wally turns 65 in December. Losing her job also means that she looses her APT as it was included. So now at this age in her life, not only does she have to apply for unemployment, something she has never done in her life, she is also losing her home and has to find somewhere else to live. She wanted to return to her homeland, Germany in Sep to attend a large family wedding and now she is not sure she can do that, and she is not sure about spending that money on travel when she just lost her job. But she told me that she should go, as now it will be the last time in her life, to see her family. DAMN the people that bought these apts. Money doesn't give someone the right to destroy other peoples lives. Aggies, please tell your friends to stay away from this place. It was fine for us but we are moving in protest next month. It's no right for them to do that to Wally. SHE is WHY we moved here! Because she seemed like a Mom away from home.
