I have lived in these apartments for 3 years. Recently they were bought out by a new
company and although they said that it would be for the best, it has only gotten
worse. The office crew is all new, they chopped everyone that used to work there.'
These new people are not as nice or approachable, but they aren't too bad.' There
are a few things that they are doing that just aren't right. They have started to
paint the bricks of the apartments over two weeks ago. One building is painted and
its painted 4 different colors and only half way up the wall. It looks like a little
kid came in and tried to color the building and got tired and quit. They never told
anyone they were going to be doing this, this picked awful colors, and had at least
10 people working on it and didn't finish one building. The are jacking up the price
from $625 to $740!!! and their exuse is that they are going to remodel the insides
(just the cabnets and kitchen floors)...but they expect you to move out t
o a temp unit and then back into your old unit...why don't they just start remodel
and move people into the new ones instead of moving out and then back into same
unit. That is two more moves, in one weeks time. The apartments need some major
upgrades, the frigs are old, the doors do not have seals and the electric bills are
starting to become outragous.' If there were more efficient appliances in the unit,
the bills would not be so high. This used to be the best place to live, and now we
are scratching at the walls to get out.

This person is telling the truth. I live here now and the rent increase is AMAZING. I'm moving. NOTE: They call themselves LAUREL RIDGE now... they keep changing names--and they are HORRIBLE. DO NOT RENT HERE!!!!!!
