I lived here for 2 years now, and just experienced finding a place in Austin. I realized I had a pretty good experience here. Being a grad student/young professional here and I thought it was probably the best place in town for me. I went to the Bush School, and the ability to take FM 2818 made it 10 minutes away door-to-door. I like it but won't ever go north on marion pugh unless it's late at night on a day without a sporting event. it has a descent pool, and a pretty good fitness center. I think I had two maintenance requests, and both were handled pretty quickly. The current manager is pretty tough and gets things right the first time - not the friendliest (nor rude) but she gets things done. The apartment is older, but I didn't have any problems. Now I realize I've paid a little more in energy cost, but the money saved on the rent more than made up for it.

Parking is pretty prevalent, probably one of the best in town because the buildings were built with so much green space.

It's nicer than all the older ones, but probably not as nice as the newer ones. Dollar for dollar though, I think it's the best deal.
