I would just like to make some comments about the Melrose staff. I have lived here for 3 years (because it is cheap and a hassle to move), and the staff has NEVER been helpful or accomodating.
For instance, we got a notice (out of the blue) in the mail one day that they would no longer be providing phone service. Apparently, it was in the new lease, but no one brought to our attention that any changes had been made from the previous lease.
Also, I have lost 2 roommates because the staff did not work with them when one was graduating and the other had a summer internship. Frankly, they do not care.
Overall, I hate the people here and am so glad to be moving in May, and I would not want anyone to make the mistake of living here.

I give melrose a D-! I totally agree! DONT LIVE HERE! It is a reasonable price, but the staff is horrible. It is run by students who know absolutely nothing, and the manager is almost no where to be found. There were several instances when maintenance entered my apt without knocking, or leaving my door wide open after they had left. Also, what is the point of having security if you drive by and they are asleep. Lastly, they put these large speed bumps everywhere; even when you go 0mph over them they scratch the bottom of your car!!! HATE IT!
