The price and location of this apartment are fantastic, but that is really the only good thing I can say about it.

For most of the time we've lived here there was a dedicated maintenance guy, who was competent and very nice, but he has been laid off and the maintenance has been even less regular since he left. The staff people are extremely nice but not very responsive. The office hours are incredibly short (10-4), and it seems like every time we've needed something they are closed early or opening late or just not there at all. With some repairs they show up immediately, but whenever the air conditioner breaks (it's happened three times in the two summers we've been here) it takes several miserable days before they get around to it.

The laundry facilities are disgusting, very dirty, and the machines are always breaking. They say they're trying to get the machines replaced but that's been the case for almost a year now, and nothing has happened.

Almost every light on our side of the apartment complex has been out for the better part of a year. This includes the lights on the stairs - not very safe at all. I've complained and some of the lights work for a week or two, but the ones on the stairs haven't been changed yet.

It's a short bike ride to campus and you can walk to a number of restaurants, plus a grocery store and Target, but I am very glad that our lease is almost up and we can get out of here.
