This is the worst apartment I have ever lived in. Absolutely everything was terrible. I will NEVER rent from a DTI property again, and I will inform everyone I know to do the same.

Everything in the apartment was bad. The oven was broken, the disposal was broken, the ceilings sagged, the closet doors were bent and fell off the tracks. The doorknob was loose and worn out. The carpet, though fairly new, was very cheap and was coming up around the edges. I am willing to put up with a lot of stuff, but the sum of this apartment was just too much to deal with.

There are some VERY sketchy people walking around at all times. The washers/dryers were almost useless and cost an arm and a leg. The walls are paper thin, and the air conditioner was about 600 years old and the thermostat had two settings: on or off. The cable in the apartment was so old and dilapidated (only one hookup worked) that Suddenlink had to make several house calls to try and fix the internet service (the repairman specifically stated it was the cabling into the house that was the problem).

When we moved out, I spent over a hundred dollars fixing the place up, and cleaning very thoroughly, and I still received over a 200 dollar bill, even though the place was in much better shape than when we moved in. Maintenance showed up about 1 out of every 5 or 6 requests.

Finally, I hope you have no friends because there is NO VISITOR PARKING. They have to park in the street and walk all the way across the complex. A friend of mine got towed even though the parking lot was empty, and the towing company is EXTREMELY SHADY and rude.

At my last two apartments, we got our entire deposit back because the apartment was in great shape. DTI is very shady, nickle-and-dime-the-customer company, and I will never rent from them again.

There are so many more problems this apartment had, but I'm sure you are tired of reading. Suffice it to say, you can do much much better than Scandalous apartments.
