I lived in a 2 bedroom/1.5 Bath and we never really had that many problems. I like the location next to two buses, if you don't get Rudder when its busy you get route 27 from the other street and thats nice. We had a leaky dishwasher but turned out we just had to push it in further, if you have that problem too just move it to the left so it fits in the frame and does actually lock. The maintanance guy, I always had the same one, he was very nice and fixed all the problems right away. At first when we moved in we said the refrigerator like shook and made a noise and they took 2 months to get there, but then they started this new form thing where they have to do it in a week and then the office calls you and checks if everything was fixed and if we had anymore problems to just tell her. The office people are nice, again I really only talked to one girl who was very nice and was always there. I think she knew my apartment also, i forgot to put it on the utility slip but i come there all the time she was like oh i know it. I got the sliding doors taken off right away because I know those dont work and I put up curtains in front of the pantry.. like OMG biggest freakin pantry ever!!! haha like im gonna miss it.
I didnt like the dti property thing how we have to pay electricity and cable/internet but that does end up making it a lot less than everywhere else.
I really loved Scandias location, parking, insulation, a/c, heating, price, room. I really looked very hard for a place cheap and roomy for 2 bedroom and this place was GREAT!! I payed about 380-395 for utility, internet, cable, and rent so if you can beat that... ha which i doubt go ahead and get that place.
downers: laundry cost (dryers take forevvvver, so many bills (however was very cheap that way), slightly noisy (i always hear neighbors on stairs), noisy a/c, some cold showers (rarely ever).. uuhhhhh.
uppers: low cost, roomy, comfortable, large amount of space, easy to share 1.5 bath, i sleep very well, easy to keep up, nice look of place (the outside looks great considering price and roominess for real!), price hard to beat, big kitchen, quick maintenance, little problems, and I LOVED IT! moving because i need 3 bdrm next year. bummer.
