Location is darn near perfect. you're practically walking distance from HEB and a bicycle distance from A&M.

The apartments are very old and worn down. Everything works though. The new onsite management is very nice and attentive.

I lived here with the HUD/Section 8 residents and it wasn't that bad or maybe I've seen and lived in worse ghettos. Most of these people are gone and some nice families are living here.

only consistent complaint is that the wooden stairs transmit an incredible amount of noise when someone (even a small female) walks up or down them. It sounds like a train is coming through your living area.

The parking situation isn't bad at all and have no idea why there were any complaints. There is ample parking on the busiest of school days. However there is a pot hole with its own zip code in one parking area.

The bus stops out in front of the apartment for pick up and drop off is a hundred feet south on Anderson.

This isn't a very well lit apartment complex. It is very dark at night. Most of the light is from the moon if any at all.

Recently the crime in this general area (not the apartment) has been increasing rapidly. Combine this with the poor lighting and lets just say percieved safety isn't the best.


Laundry facilities leave alot to be desired. They are there for emergencies only. It is expensive and you're lucky if the dryers and washer work right.

I'd still recommend (highly) this apartment. Especially for students who need to ride a bike to campus.
