After 2 years here, I am going to miss it!

PROS
-Cost for square footage is one of best in CS (about 634sq.ft. for $420)
-Windows face in (view is other apts, not much view of street, etc), so utilities veeeery low
-Half a mile from great shopping center: Hastings, HEB, Freebird's, Old Navy, Target, Outback Steakhouse, Olive Garden
-2 miles from campus
-Maintenance man (Jimmy!) is kick-butt....he shows up hours or next morning after you write request. This man must love his job- he is constantly walking grounds, taking out trash people have not yet taken to dumpster themselves, picking up stuff off ground, smiling & saying HELLO. Go Jimmy!
-Quiet-- lots of families
-Lawn/grounds always mowed

CONS
-Be sure to look at floor plans-- single medium is best for kitchen lovers, single small & single large kitchens are little & narrow
-Car got broken into once (but neighbor called police & thieves got caught, but took nothing....I got reimbursed $300, but only spent $100 on window replacement!!)
-Bike got stolen out of back of truck (my fault- it was not locked or anything....also, this is just a problem in CS)
-Inexpensive place, so some shady characters....but I think they are all bark, no bite
-Pool is clean, but small & few leaves in it
-Do not really enforce clean patio/porch rules....some guy has had this old nasty weight bench on his bottom floor patio for over a year now!!
-Porch plant got stolen last year, but my neighbor's girlfriend's plants NEVER got stolen!

I really like this place & met some nice folks. I highly recommend living here. Parking is so great, they do not even mind that lots of students just park here during day (with still lots of spots left) just to ride shuttle bus, right on street in front of complex.
