I have lived in two 2-bedroom apts of this complex for 3 years total.

The two main advantages of this apartment complex are that it is biking distance to A&M main campus and it is reasonably cheap. It can even be considered walking distance unless it is too hot (all of summer) or too cold (not really an issue in College Station).

If you're a single woman you should NOT live in this complex. It's not the worst but it is certainly shady and I wouldn't take the trash out at night if I were you...

The maintenance people are adequate but the people running the office are usually TERRIBLE idiots. They are hired on temp basis by the owners (the evil N.O.I. corporation) and you may as well kiss most of your deposit goodbye as they will charge you for things like light bulbs that were missing when you moved in and carpet stains that were there when you moved in.

The police come frequently to this complex for noise violations and domestic disputes.

The pool is dirty and there is no patio furniture around it.

The laundry is OK.

They will not tow your friends away for parking anywhere.

There are bugs in the apartments but what do you expect for something built in the 1970's'

When you sign up for your lease you actually have to sign a release that says you will not sue them for health problems resulting from Asbestos poisoning as this place was built when Asbestos-insulated walls were OK. This is not a big health issue unless you frequently like to drill holes and inhale the dust.

Overall, if you have to be that close to campus (i.e. you don't have a car) and you can't afford better, Sevilla is OK. If you drive your car to campus you have a bunch of better options for the same price. Just shop around.
