i have lived here for over two years and used to find the place endearing. however, the management has decided that it is better to fill the empty apartments with criminals than consider the safety of the current residents. knife fights have occured between family members on the grass, i can't throw out any financial documents because residents go dumpster diving, the new residents think it is appropriate for 20 children to swim without adults in the middle of a thunderstorm, etc, etc. plus, the management is completely crooked. it has gotten to the point that my roommate and i must ask for receipts for our checks when we pay rent. also, since the apartments are older, you may end up paying ridiculously high utility bills.

it has gotten to the point where my roommate and i have consulted a lawyer on our problems.

it is sad that a complex that was once a unique community of undergrad and grad students, families and the elderly from all over the globe had turned into a place so horrid.
