This place appeared nice a year ago. However after living here for 3 semesters i know better. Residence are forced to participate in meal plans where the food is less than adequite. Small portions of food are given yet they call it an all you can eat...' Food is bland tasting and will leave you hungry more times than not. The staff of the dorm is commonly the biggest complaint. The management and their huge ego's dont care about a large percent of the residence and quite frequently come off as rude. The RA staff is average, with a few shining where most others fail. As a resident of the third floor building B this year, I was very pleased with my RA's and their interaction with residents. There are so many rules and surveilance cameras, residence feel more inprisoned than at home. The crack force "security" team is another subject up for debate. Security personel are a waste of funds and are not productive. Eventhough they sit and stare at the security monitors, many vehicles within view still get vandelism, INCLUDING MINE. Living with the athletes is a nightmare. Lack of respect for others, property and rules is just a few of their qualities. Rules are bent and over looked for this group of residence. Send them back where they came from and give the normal paying residence a break. Location is great but he price for everything is extreme. Rent can cost over $800 for a very small room, and parking is another chunk of change. Tight parking spaces, no guranteed spots and poor overall design keeps the garage a feature I try to avoid. Horrible entryway design does nothing to keep visitors and guests from driving up in the already crampted garage. During the 2002-2003 academic calendar year, the internet worked like a dream. However, this academic year has been less than adequite. The internet service provider has made countless trips to repair the system with little success. Placing the blame for the internet malfunctioning on the residence only added kindling to the fire buring inside. I would not recomend this pit to anyone. For the cost of one month at Tradition, a student could have a house with land, a personal garage and spending money. Dont make the same mistake I did, invest your money in something worth it.
