I came here to The Tradition very excited for the entire experience. Do not get tricked into paying the $800 dollars to park in their garage. First off, nobody ever checks the garage, people park in there all the time without the stickers. I spoke with the management and they told me they randomly check on weekends, that they cannot get a tow truck in there, and basically the only thing that happens is a warning sticker on your car. Maybe this isn't a big deal to some residents but I paid for this parking and feel that they should monitor or give me my money back.
Also, the mail, it took me and my roommate's letters 4 weeks to arrive here! The date on my envelope is January 29th and just received it a couple days ago. That is ridiculous. The Tradition puts on a great show for Aggie Days and when parents come to visit, but when that isn't happening, the place looks horrible. The food is good sometimes. Don't pay for unlimited they never check that either. They will put flowers on the dining tables when parents come also, but it looks trashy when no parents are here. They suck up hard core they just want all of your money. The staff can't help you with any of your problems. I had a shirt stolen out of my closet and I always lock my door to my room. The manager told me that They couldn't do anything about it. Basically blew me off. This place is awful and I don't recommend it to anyone. Agreed, there are so many better places out there.
