Now, on the surface, treehouse might seem great. Decent prices, close to campus....DON'T FALL FOR IT. I lived there for two years and it was the worst apt experience I have ever had.

Where to begin...

1.) The a/c does not work...sure, it turns on...and runs all day, but it only cools it to 80 deg...there is little to no insulation and little to nothing management will do about it..apparently 83 deg is "normal"...also, if yours breaks (ours did, THREE TIMES)..dont expect anyone to be in a hurry to fix it...especially if its summer...they have A/C at their house...why should they care' also, did i mention outrageous electric bills....be sure to tack on $200 each month to the rent

2.) Water...sure, it comes on sometimes, but while living there the water was shut off at least bi-weekly...no explanation was given..it was off over 48 hours during one week...

3.) Noise....if you like noise...GREAT!!!...there is tons of it...the apts are cheap and you can hear just about anything outside

4.) Now the best part...the apartment management...when you sign up, they are GREAT..nice, they listen, answer all your questions..once you sign on the dotted line...its over...Linda is by far the worst apt manager I have ever met...somehow it made her mad that my A/C broke all the time...she takes every problem like it is a personal attack on her..so she gets mad and huffy and doesn't fix it...I believe apt managers are supposed to serve their customers...listen to them, and fix the things that break...not so at Treehouse...the junior apt rep was always quite nice, but over the years she has adopted more and more of Linda's attitude towards customer service...hopefully that will change..also, do not expect to get any deposit back...everything is considered dirty and or broken, no matter what you do..and don't lose one of their stupid parking tags..apparent a little piece of plastic costs over $50 to replace..

I could go on and on about the horrible treatment, but that should suffice...there are SO MANY other places in town that are cheaper and better....PLEASE go somewhere else
