Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2005
I lived in Treehouse for one year. Through out that year, I had numerous problems with my apartment.
First, I constantly found bugs throughout my apartment. I turned the light on, only to find roaches in the kitchen, bathroom, and living spaces. I found evidence of a large infestation problem in the pantry.
Second, the apartment is in shoddy condition. The screen door on the balcony is broken. There was a hole in the wall of my bathroom when I moved in that was never properly fixed. The carpet is stained.
Third, the walls are very thin. I constantly hear the residents above me when they are walking around. I hear conversations that occur outside of my bedroom.
Fourth, the laundry facilities are lackluster at best. There are only two small laundry rooms for this complex. There always seems to be problems when it comes to drying the clothes and you are likely to need to dry the same load two times.
Also, there is no way to mail something without taking it to the office. This is a minor annoyance to me as I have never lived anywhere else where one could not send a piece of mail.
On the positive side, the parking is positive. You are almost guaranteed to find a spot close to you apartment because they will tow quickly if someone is parked in the lot without a pass. However, there is very limited visitor parking. They need to expand their visitor parking lot or allow residents to get more then one visitor tag.
The new managers seem to be competent. This is a dramatic improvement. odusyNYCcZ7yL3Bj5JtG
